SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy

How E&E Outreach customers obtain consent before sending text messages.

Overview

E&E Outreach is a B2B platform that allows small businesses (our "customers") to send AI-generated follow-up text messages to their own customers (the "recipients"). Each business that uses our platform is responsible for obtaining proper consent from their recipients before sending any text messages, in compliance with the TCPA, CTIA Messaging Principles, and applicable state laws.

For SaaS recipients: If you received a text message from a business using E&E Outreach, that business obtained your phone number directly from you (e.g., when you booked an appointment, signed a service agreement, or filled out a contact form). You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

Required Elements of a Compliant Opt-In

Every opt-in form used by businesses on our platform must include:

  • A clear identification of the business name sending the messages
  • Description of the type of messages (appointment reminders, follow-ups, promotions, etc.)
  • A statement of message frequency ("Message frequency varies" is acceptable)
  • The phrase "Message and data rates may apply"
  • Instructions to reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help
  • A statement that consent is not a condition of purchase
  • Links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
  • An unchecked checkbox (consent must be affirmative — never pre-checked)

How Opt-Out Works

Recipients can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message
  • Contacting the business directly
  • Contacting E&E Outreach at support@eeoutreach.com

Opt-out requests are processed automatically within seconds. Once opted out, the recipient will not receive any further messages from that business through our platform.

Help Information

Recipients who reply HELP to a text message will receive a response identifying the business and providing contact information. They can also email support@eeoutreach.com for assistance.

Message Types

Messages sent through E&E Outreach are limited to:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Follow-up messages after a service or appointment
  • Re-engagement messages for inactive customers
  • Promotional offers (only when the recipient has explicitly opted in to receive promotions)

We do not allow messages related to prohibited categories under CTIA guidelines, including but not limited to: cannabis, illegal substances, gambling content not approved for SMS, or hate/harassment content.

For Businesses Using E&E Outreach

Your responsibility: When you sign up for E&E Outreach, you agree that every phone number you upload was obtained with proper consent as described on this page. We require you to maintain records of consent (form submissions, signed agreements, etc.) and produce them upon request. Uploading numbers without consent is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in immediate account termination.
